Sellbrite for Shopify helps Shopify merchants Master the Marketplaces - Sellbrite

Sellbrite for Shopify helps Shopify merchants Master the Marketplaces

For over 4 years now, Sellbrite has helped Shopify store owners manage their online store business alongside their marketplace business. Many merchants have used Sellbrite to add Shopify stores to their business and build their brand. Others found Sellbrite within the Shopify app store and have used Sellbrite to create new marketplace sales.

Sellbrite has helped merchants add millions of dollars in new sales throughout this period, but one thing has been consistent: in order to use Sellbrite, a merchant had to adopt Sellbrite as the source of truth for controlling inventory and product data. This means that for many Shopify and Shopify Plus merchants, they would need to change their workflow and discontinue their existing inventory management process.

This change of workflow often meant a merchant’s existing integrations with other tools, including many found within the Shopify app store, could no longer be utilized if a merchant wanted to manage all sales channels with Sellbrite. And for that reason many merchants were unable to wholly adopt Sellbrite’s leading marketplace selling technology.

Introducing Sellbrite for Shopify

Today, that all changes. We’re thrilled to introduce Sellbrite for Shopify, a new version of Sellbrite that acts as an extension of a merchant’s Shopify store. Sellbrite for Shopify allows existing Shopify operations to continue uninterrupted and provides easy, affordable access to new marketplace channels and sales.

Power the marketplaces with Shopify product data

With Sellbrite for Shopify, products managed within Shopify are just a few clicks away from being listed onto the major marketplaces.

Shopify merchants who install the Sellbrite app are prompted to add their marketplace selling accounts. After adding their accounts, they’ll see their Shopify products appear in the Sellbrite product catalog. From the Sellbrite product catalog, products can be easily listed to the marketplaces.

Existing marketplace listings will also be imported to Sellbrite once the marketplace selling accounts are added. These existing listings can be linked to the Sellbrite product catalog for automated inventory and order syncing between Shopify and the marketplaces.

Once products are listed to the marketplaces, any changes within Shopify to product details like titles, descriptions, images, etc., will pass automatically through Sellbrite and out to the marketplaces.

Manage inventory quantities from within Shopify

Sellbrite for Shopify allows merchants to leverage their multi-location inventory in Shopify on the marketplaces. Whether a merchant is managing their own warehouse stock, inventory that resides in a Fulfillment by Amazon warehouse, or other inventory integrations like Drop Ship software or 3PL, all of this inventory will be made available in Sellbrite for Shopify.

Once a new Sellbrite account is created, warehouse locations are automatically created in Sellbrite based on the locations that a merchant uses in Shopify. Merchants can use as many or as few of their locations as they want on each marketplace using our simple drag and drop warehouse location tool.

Quantity changes made within your Shopify store sync to Sellbrite immediately and push to the marketplaces.

Fulfill marketplace orders with Shopify Shipping

Just as with inventory, merchants ship orders in lots of different ways. Sellbrite for Shopify sends orders from all marketplaces back to Shopify, mapped to the location from which they originated, so merchants can run their fulfillment uninterrupted.

Orders are tagged with the marketplace channel on which they were taken, and existing fulfillment rules can be leveraged based on the tags.

Customer profiles are created for each new order based on the Ship To address. And don’t worry, Sellbrite for Shopify will not create duplicate orders for multiple orders from a single Ship To address over time.

How can you access Sellbrite for Shopify?

Sellbrite for Shopify is now the default Sellbrite flow whenever a new Sellbrite account is created from the Shopify app store. By installing the Sellbrite app and starting a new trial, merchants can leverage this new functionality.

For merchants who do not use Shopify as their source of truth or hub of operations, the traditional Sellbrite offering is still available. Creating a Sellbrite account from any means other than the Shopify app store will offer the traditional version of the software.
